BatesCentral.com is Back Online!


Well, at long last our website is finally being updated! There is a new look to the site. The old site is still around and you will be able to access it for nostalgic purposes. I have a vision in my head for a new site design, but it is going to take a bit of work. Until I can carve out some major time, I am going to run this site as a web log.

I have never created a Blog before, so this is all new territory. My thought right now is to have this a temporary format, but we'll see what happens.

What is a Blog? Well, let me fill you in... A web log (or Blog for short), is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in cronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominantly.

I have acquired some blogging software, so this should make it much easier for me to keep the site up-to-date. My current plan is to update the Family News weekly. I may be too ambitious, but I'll do my best.
